Power washing for driveways, patios and decks
Power washing, also called pressure washing, cleans hard exterior surfaces with a high-pressure water spray of roughly 1,300–2,800 PSI. It removes dirt, mud, grime, loose paint, mold and mildew without relying on chemicals.

Power Washing
Why it’s worth doing properly
01Enhanced curb appeal
Over time, outdoor surfaces build up a layer of grime that dulls the whole property. Power washing brings them back, which matters most when you are selling your home or hosting an event.
02Prevent costly repairs
Mold, mildew and algae slowly break down concrete and wood. Removing them regularly extends the life of your exterior surfaces and helps avoid repairs.
03Safer surfaces
Algae and grime make walkways, steps and decks slippery when wet. A clean surface is a safer one.
04The right pressure for the surface
Equipment pressure is adjusted to the job: higher for concrete, lower for wood and anything more delicate. We know the settings and cleaning solutions for each surface, so it gets clean without damage.

Surfaces we clean

Pressure can do damage
The force of a pressure washer should not be underestimated. Used on the wrong surface it can wash mortar or grout out of brick and tile, strip paint, remove asphalt granules from a roof, or force water behind siding. That is why we limit power washing to surfaces that can take it, and soft wash the rest.
What we work on
Power Washing around the home

Will power washing damage my driveway?
Not when the pressure and nozzle suit the surface. Concrete and stone handle high pressure well; we turn it down for pavers with sand joints, wood and older surfaces.
Can you remove oil stains?
Oil soaks into concrete, so old stains may lighten rather than disappear. We pre-treat them and tell you during the inspection what result to expect.
Can a wooden deck be power washed?
Treated wooden decks can, at a lower pressure and with care around the grain. Softer or painted wood is better soft washed.
How often should I power wash?
For most homes, once a year keeps driveways, walkways and patios in good shape. Shaded areas that stay damp may need it more often.
Do you use chemicals?
Power washing usually relies on water pressure alone. Where a stain needs it, we use a suitable cleaning solution and rinse it away.
